Is it really alive?
Yes. This is live Spanish moss (Tillandsia usneoides), a flowering air plant. Many pieces arrive with tiny flowers or seed pods.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free within the US. Every order ships by USPS from Lake Placid, Florida, in a breathable translucent bag to keep it fresh in transit.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within about a week. Etsy shows an estimated delivery date for your zip code at checkout.
Is it safe for reptiles and terrariums?
Yes. Our moss is cleaned naturally by fish in a spring lake, with no pesticides or harsh chemicals, so it's safe for terrariums and reptile enclosures.
Will it bring bugs into my home?
Our moss is naturally cleaned and debugged before shipping, so it arrives ready to hang indoors.
